Course Description:
This subject is a study of human factors as they affect maintenance technicians and engineers. The subject will emphasize the need to take human factors into account in high risk working environments. The subject integrates safety culture, human error, human performance and limitations, environment, communication, assertiveness, organization’s HF program, procedures, information, tools and practices.

Course Objective:
The student will demonstrate knowledge of aircraft Human Factors:
- Gain awareness of the processes of human performance and limitations that affect their individual performance as professional aircraft maintenance engineers.
- Be able to discuss how humans react with machines, the technology, the environment and themselves.
- Be able to show proof of maintenance errors.
