The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Savis Aviation Services today, Wednesday, at the academy’s branch in New Alamein City.
The MOU was signed by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, and Dr. Alaa Fekry, President of Savis, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Safty, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Alamein branch, Prof. Dr. Ali El-Hirbawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Alamein branch, and Dr. Amr El-Halw, Dean of the Center for Agreements and International Relations.

The goal of the MOU is to facilitate future institutional cooperation by defining possible ways for SAVIS and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport to develop and implement collaborative activities. These include conducting aircraft maintenance training programs through summer courses, providing European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) curricula, training, materials, certifications, and exams, and conducting aircraft maintenance training through the integration of EASA Part 66 courses.
At this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, stated, “We are pleased with this bilateral cooperation, which will positively impact the educational system. The academy is always working to strengthen collaboration with active stakeholders in various related fields, in order to fulfill its mission of knowledge and development and build a better future for its students.”
